Dr. Bhanu Prakash of MOHAN Foundation visited St Mary’s College of Pharmacy, Secunderabad, to conduct an awareness session on organ donation along with Dr. Vikram Kumar a Nephrologist from Gandhi Hospital on 28th October 2024.
He explained about the importance of organ donation and concept of brain death, grief counselling and ways of organ transplantation. Dr. Vikram Kumar spoke on functions of kidney and causes of kidney diseases.
120 Pharmacy students and the staff attended the session, and all their doubts about organ donation were clarified.
