At NIMS the Transplant Coordinator Ms Parvathi Gujjari counseled the brother of Mr. Kishan who was declared brain dead a day after he met with a road accident. She had to counsel the brother for about 5 to 6 hours. The brother gave consent for organ donation. Kidneys and Heart were retrieved and the organs were shared between Global, NIMS & Apollo. Kidneys were shared between NIMS Hospital & Apollo Hospitals while Heart was given to Global Hospitals.
