On January 31, 2014, Dr Sunil Shroff, Managing Trustee, MOHAN Foundation along with Pallavi Kumar, Executive Director, MOHAN Foundation)were invited to an event organized by the Delhi Urological Society at the Airport Authority of India, Officers Club, New Delhi for a special evening organized to commemorate donors /recipient and celebrate Organ Donation Evening. Former cricketers Bishen Singh Bedi and Kapil Dev were invited as guest of honor who pledged their organs on the spot and stressed on the relevance of Organ donation and the role of public and private partnership. Dr Avnish Seth Director, Fortis Organ Retrieval & Transplantation, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon was also present alongside his wife to share their experience of pledging their mother in laws organs a month back and were felicitated by Dr. Jagdish Prasad Director General Health Service , Delhi.
