  On 22^nd April 2017, MOHAN Foundation Chandigarh was invited to put up a stall in the Free Mammography, Oral Cancer Detection and Blood Cancer Detection Camp organized by Mr. Harjeet Singh Sabharwal, Trustee, Amrit Cancer Foundation who arranges Free Cancer Detection and Awareness Camp for general public in the remembrance of his beloved wife who passed away in the year 2010.

   

  A celebrity from the Punjabi film industry, Harbhajan Mann was the chief guest. His mother and one sister died of cancer, while his father and other sister are cancer survivors. Harbhajan is the Brand Ambassador of World Cancer Foundation, working for early detection of cancer. He visited our stall and appreciated our work. Harbhajan Mann signed the donor card, pledging his organs.

   

  Around 500 people visited our stall. It was an amazing experience as people were so forthcoming and wanted to know more about organ donation and eye donation. Many social workers also came and appreciated the cause.

   

  We have been made a permanent invitee to all IMA – Chandigarh Camps. Next one is scheduled for 1^st May 2017.
