Chinese attempt face transplant.

• The People's Daily Online reports that an eleven year old girl is likely to undergo face transplant.A research team at the General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command has started an experiment program on the facial transplants .Hong Zhijian, the team leader,said their first operation would probably be made on Liu Fangyuan.
  
  This is the first instance in china that such an attempt on face transplants is made.Liu Fangyuan suffered severe burn injury when she was nine years old.
  
  

  

  She had reportedly said she would rather die in surgery than by suicide because of the distress caused by her by severe burns.But thanks to the techniques she may have normal life after surgery.
