Party Turns Lucky for a Woman in Dire Need of a Kidney Transplant

    A first time meeting with 45-year-old Manoly Viravong at a party set kind-hearted Veronica Buttigieg thinking.

    Manoly Viravong was in dire need of a kidney transplant and was on the waiting list for the past two years. She had to spend eight hours a day on a dialysis machine.

    Veronica was deeply moved by her story and thought it was the right time to concretize her desire of organ donation. She told Manoly of her intention to donate a kidney.

    Later tests were conducted which showed that the two were a perfect match and a transplant surgery was conducted two months later at The Royal London Hospital.

    Explaining the miracle in her life, Manoly said, At first I thought that Veronica was joking then I realised she meant it. I dont know how to thank her.I was feeling ill and I could have not gone to the party. Its not just my life its changed, but my husband and childrens.
