On June 29th 2022, Mitra Margapuri an intern of MOHAN Foundation – Mumbai conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation for SBI officials at Raheja Chambers, SBI Office. 15 SBI officers attended the session.
Mitra introduced himself to the audience and spoke a few words about MOHAN Foundation and its activities. He then discussed the below topics in detail:
A discussion arose, talking about the topic of ethics of Organ Donation. Many of the attendees felt that those who donate organs should be entitled to compensation in some way or another in terms of monetary compensation or otherwise.
At the end, a demo of how SBI employees can take pledge through SBI’s own HRMS portal, was shown. Lastly, Mr. Mitra appealed to all attendees to pledge their organs and save other’s lives and thanked each and every one for their active participation.
