MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur Center, continued with its stall at Raman Science Centre and Planetarium on 11 January 2016. Dr. Krishna Kamble organized the science expo and invited MOHAN Foundation to set a stall for students as well as general public people who visit to Raman Science Expo center.
Ms. Kanchan Shewde & Mr. Bulu Behera organ transplant coordinators manned the stall and explained about the concept of organ and tissue donation & whole body donation.
400 students as well as public attended at the stall. 2 students signed consent form and took donor card.
The following questions were asked:-
1. What is difference between coma and Brain death?
2. How many valves in a heart?
2. Whom to contact for Eye donation?
3. Is it possible to transplant heart from adult to a baby?
4. What much time is taken for liver transplant?
5. Where to go for liver transplant?
