An online awareness session on organ donation was organized by the Aam Aadmi Party of Sneha Nagar, Nagpur on 17th July 2021. Mr. Bulu Behera Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation was invited as the speaker for the occasion.
There were about 12 AAP Members who were present in the webinar which went for 30 minutes. The session was started by Mr. Ajay Dharme, the Convener of the Southwest Wing of Aam Aadmi Party in Nagpur. He introduced Mr. Behera and MOHAN Foundation to the audience.
Mr. Behera the gave information about organ donation and transplantation; brain death and the tissues and organs that can be donated after brain death and natural death; ethics in organ donation; and the transplant law.
Mr. Dharme gave vote of thanks as the session ended.
