  Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation was invited as a speaker for women’s day, organized by International Crops Research Institute for Semi- Arid Tropics on March 6^th, 2020.

  There were 150 team members at the meeting, consisting of ICRISAT Staff and other working professionals from different parts of our country. Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram was invited to share her personal story with the audience. It brought  tears for many of the audience. Her story was an inspiration to everyone who was present there.

  Afternoon session was started with basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation by Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram. She shared her experience in this field. She spoke about the importance of the organ donation in our country, and it inspired the participants and they got enthusiastic to promote organ donation in their career. She shared the story of Shreya, the hand transplant recipient, and showed her video.  All participants gave extremely good feedback about the entire program and mentioned that they learnt something new and that they look forward to such programs in the future.
