MOHAN Foundation was invited to give an awareness talk to the staff of Mallya Hospital on 5th June 2013. A group of 30 young medical professionals attended the talk. MOHAN Foundation’s Project Manager Ms.Smeja Paul addressed the gathering and gave a presentation on Organ Donation.
She focused on the role of medical professionals in promoting cadaver donations. Presentation was followed by a discussion on difficulties faced by the professionals in counselling the families and the legal support. The group was enthusiastic to clear their doubts and misconceptions. All the participants picked the donor cards and offered their support to us.
