

MOHAN Foundation visited the residence of a donor’s family at JJ Nagar in Mahabubnagar district to attend the condolence meet organised and felicitated the family.
The donor, a 58-year-old female had met with an accident on 1st December 2021, doctors declared her brain dead on 17th December 2021, the family consented for organ donation and her lungs, liver, kidneys and corneas were utilized.
Around 60 relatives and neighbours attended the condolence program, and Dr. Bhanu Prakash explained about the concept of brain death and importance of organ donation to those present.
Around 100 donor cards and brochures were distributed. The Foundation is grateful to the donor’s family for their brave decision.
