  On 11^th February 2022, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation conducted an awareness programme on organ donation to the members of Narayani Shakti Foundation Nagpur. This session was organized on the occasion of “Basant Panchmi ” celebration.

  Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi was the speaker for the day. She then began her PPT presentation by introducing herself and MOHAN Foundation and its activities.

  Thereafter, she touched upon the below topics:

   1, Concept of organ donation and its types

   2. Process of organ donation and transplantation

   3. Myths and Facts about organ donation

   4. Difference between tissues and organs

   5. A video explaining brain stem death was displayed to the audience and the concept of brain stem death was explained.

   6. MOHAN Foundation’s helpline was shared with the audience

  The session was interactive and informative; Around 92 members participated in the event. The participants expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Prarthana and MOHAN Foundation for conducting a valuable session on organ donation to them.
