On 15th November 2013 , an information stall was put at the Maharashtra Industrial Association Hall (MIA) to promote Deceased Organ Donation. The stalled was manned by Transplant coordinators from Nagpur, Mr. Bulu Behera and Ms. Kanchan Shewde. There were 10 visitors to the organ donation stall. They were told about the concepts of organ donation including brain death, coma and cardiac death, organs that can be donated under the three conditions, the law regarding transplantation and how brain death is certified. One person signed up for organ donation and picked the donor card.
