On 26th November 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Principal, Ms. Seema B Grover on the occasion of Organ Donation Day to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for senior students. Around 50 students and 15 teachers attended the session.
Ms. Seema B Grover, Principal welcomed MOHAN Foundation and Ms. Neha Sharma introduced her to the students and teachers about the talk.
Ms. Neha Sharma was the speaker for the day. She walked through the concept of organ donation and transplantation. The audience were made aware of the effective usage of organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100. Types of organ donations, how to register as an organ donor, concept of brain death and circulatory death was discussed in detail.
She also explained the importance of donor card and encouraged each and every one to pledge their organs.
The talk was interesting and interactive. Mr. Sohan, Vice Principal thanked Ms. Neha Sharma and said that the talk was very informative and encouraged teachers and students to pledge for organ donation.
