Transplant Coordinators Training Program at Command Hospital, Chandigarh

  • Transplant Coordinators Training Program was conducted at Command Hospital, Chandimandir (Chandigarh) from 1st September to 5th September, 2014. Command Hospital has been registered as Organ Retrieval Center. 14 participants including Medical Officers and Nursing officers from the Armed Forces participated in this program. Besides 14 participants from various Army Hospitals of Western Command, two participants each from Patel Hospital, Jalandhar and PGIMER Chandigarh and three from MOHAN Foundation attended this program.

     

    The program was very successfully conducted by MOHAN Faculty and Faculty from Command Hospital and PGIMER.

     

    It is worthhile mentioning that the Training Program was a result of great initiative of Co lA.K.Sharm, Sr. Surgeon(G.I.Surgery and Liver Transplant)and whole hearted support that he got from Maj.Gen.Atul Sharma,M.G.(Med), Maj. Gen.Rajvir, Commandant and Brig, Srinath, (Urologist) H.O.D. Surgery and Mr. Sudhir Dewan, Director-North, MOHAN Foundation.

     

    Thanks to Ms. Lalitha Raghuram, Dr. Sumana Navin and other faculty from MOHAN and Command Hospital, The program was a great success. We hope to do a similar program for Northern Command Hospitals at Command Hospital, Udhampur (J&K).
