On 21st August 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Prof Pradhan and the Principal, Dr Susy Kuriakose to conduct an awareness session at Western College of Commerce and Business Management, Sanpada. This was the second year that we were invited for awareness talks.
The NSS students were addressed by Mrs. Jaya Jairam. She shared inspiring stories of donors and thereafter went on to explain the concepts of organ donation.
She also shared her own personal story of how she overcame her own kidney failure after she underwent a kidney transplant.
The students raised a few queries and they were answered. A few of them were inspired to volunteer with us and have enrolled for the Angel of Change workshop.
Mrs. Jaya Jairam has also been invited by the principal to create awareness at the villages adopted by their college, in the outskirts of Panvel.
We are grateful to Dr. Susy Kuriakose as well as Prof Pradhan for supporting the cause.
