The students were enthusiastic to enter into the stall and to learn about organ donation. The transplant coordinators Mr. Issac and Ms. Smeja interacted with them and explained the following topics.

    2.      Types of Donors

    3.      Difference between Brain Death and Coma

    4.      Importance of holding a Donor card

    5.      Steps to be a healthy donor

Around 60 students came to the stall. They asked various questions, shared their thoughts including misbelieves with the transplant co-ordinators.

The Students raised few questions like:

    1.      What if the transplanted Donor’s organ doesn’t support the organ system of the recipient?

    2.      Does the hereditary characters of the donor get incorporated in the recipient’s body?

    3.      Does my family have to register their consent in any hospital now itself?

    4.      How can I get access to an organ in rural areas?

The transplant co-ordinators were successful in providing accurate answers to their queries.    All students who visited the stall were ready to support the cause and around 60 of them picked up donor cards.
