On February 24th and 25th 2012, MOHAN Foundation took up a stall in Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC), Chennai, who hosted a CME programme called ‘RACE 2012’ for the postgraduates of anesthesiology.
MOHAN Foundation intended to spread the concept of Organ Donation and Transplantation to the 750 delegates who came to attend the conference. Mrs. Shaila, Mr. Kuruvilla and Mr. Christopher manned the stall during these 3 days, explaining the concepts and creating awareness among the delegates.
Brochures, Donor Cards, Newsletter etc were kept in the delegate kits which were distributed to the them by the organizers. Most of the delegates visited the stall and enquired more on the process of Organ Donation, which were clarified by the team at the stall.
Many delegates took Donor Cards from the stall and pledged to donate their organs and took an extra few to give it to their relatives and friends.
