Ms. Parveen Mahajan, an organ donation ambassador of MOHAN Foundation educated a group of employees of Havells Ltd. about organ donation. She addressed the group during a First Aid training she imparted on 22nd and 23rd of March 2021.
Around 26 people had attended the training, which took place in Baddi. Ms. Mahajan elaborately explained organ donation, the need for it, organs and tissues that could be donated and the myths related to it.
As most of them were unaware of the concepts of organ donation, they found the talk informative and motivational. Seven of them signed up as organ donors during the occasion.
