  • On August 25, 2023, Ms Pallavi Kumar (Executive Director) was invited to conduct an online session for the employees of FIS. The initiative to organise the session was taken by Mr Inderpal Singh, Senior Director Development at FIS. The session was part of their initiative, InDivisible, a weeklong event to celebrate and spread awareness on women equality.

Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS) is an American multinational corporation which offers a wide range of financial products and services. FIS is most known for its development of Financial Technology, or FinTech. Annually, FIS facilitates the movement of roughly $9 trillion through the processing of approximately 75 billion transactions in service to more than 20,000 clients around the globe.

Ms Pallavi made a presentation on the various aspects of organ donation, types of donors, the law, brain death, various myths and misconceptions on organ donation, role of MOHAN Foundation etc. Since it was a live Microsoft teams meeting, participants could not interact during the session, but they posted their queries on the chat which were addressed at the end of the talk.

Some of the questions that the participants asked were:

How long can the organs be maintained once retrieved?

    How are organs allocated?

Who to call in case on eye donation?

How can one do skin donation?

Many were interested in pursuing the online ambassador course of MOHAN Foundation in order to become volunteers and contribute back to the cause.

Close to 400 participants joined the session.
