MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Prasad (HR of Agrigold) to conduct an awareness session on organ donation at Shishu Vidya Mandir at the weekly gathering for Hanuman Chalisa Parayan on 15th March 2015.
There were about 50 participants that have participated in the event and all of them were distributed donor cards, family donor cards and information brochures.
Ms. Shanti of MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of deceased organ donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation, and the role of medical professionals in organ donation. All the participants were distributed donor cards, family donor cards and information brochures and were explained the importance of donor card and the role of MOHAN Foundation in promoting organ donation in India.
We thank the Mr. Prasad of Agrigold for helping us in organizing this event to promote organ donation. We also thank all the participants for their active participation.
