MOHAN Foundation and Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance drive awareness as part of #ZindagiUnlimited campaign

  • On 12th Nov 2019, Mrs Jaya Jairam was invited at the offices of Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance (ETLI), to spread awareness and motivate their employees to support the cause, as part of the #ZindagiUnlimited campaign.

     

    Mr. Abhishek Gupta their Chief Marketing Officer spoke about the research "Life After Life" that was conducted by them and its startling findings. The research brought out that more than 80% of the public were aware about organ donation; however less than 3% actually ended up taking the pledge due to lack of awareness about the process. Mr Sumit Rai, their MD & CEO made a heartfelt appeal to all the employees to support the cause and pledge to become organ doors.

     

    Mrs Jaya Jairam then spoke about the need for organ donation and how the cause would be benefitted by ETLI's campaign. She thereafter shared her own story of how she got a second chance at life after her mother donated one of her kidneys to her when she was critically ill. She appealed to all to take the step and commit to it so that our loved ones need not lose their lives while waiting to receive an organ.
