MOHAN Foundation Mumbai was invited to participate in a 3-day Organ Donation drive conducted by the Government of Maharashtra

  College students who supports Organ Donation

  MOHAN Foundation, along with other NGOs was invited by Dr.Sujata Patwardhan, Secretary, ZTCC Mumbai to participate in the 3 day long awareness drive from 30^th Aug to 1^st Sept 2016.

   

  The drive was inaugurated on 30^th Aug in the morning, with a walkathon at Marine drive which was flagged off by dignitaries including CM, Mr. Devendra Phadnavis, Water resource and Medical Education Minister, Mr.Girish Mahajan, Health Minister, Mr.Deepak Sawant, other ministers and Governor, Mr.Vidyasagar Rao.

   

  MOHAN Foundation participated in the rally along with 15 volunteer students of MD College, Parel, who enthusiastically participate. Other NGOs, hospitals and their representatives and Rotary club groups and their volunteers also participated in large numbers.

   

  At the end of the walkathon, there were signup stalls, one of which was manned by MOHAN Foundation. Many students and public who attended the rally signed up in large numbers.

   

  Subsequently, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sandeep  Jadhav from the office of minister, Mr.Girish Mahajan, to set up an awareness stall at Mantralaya. Looking at the overwhelming response, we were requested to extend our stall for the whole week from 30^th Aug to 3^rd Sept.

   

  On the 31^st Aug 2016, Ms. Jaya Jairam participated in an awareness talk at KEM, for its students, who were present in large numbers.

   

  On 1^st Sept 2016, MOHAN Foundation participated in an event organised by ZTCC Mumbai wherein 19 families of deceased donors from all over Maharashtra were felicitated by Minister, Mr.Girish Mahajan.
