MFJCF sets up an Organ Donation Information Desk at Gurudwara Vaishali Nagar Jaipur

  Information desk at the Gurudwara

  On 7^th June 2019, the MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) was invited by the Secretary of Gurudwara Vaishali Nagar in Jaipur to spread awareness about organ donation among the devotees who visit the place of worship.

  Around 200 people visited the information desk which was set up and information about organ/eye donation was given in detail by Mr. Ravi Karma who manned the desk.

  Following information was given to devotees:

  • Types of organ donation and who can be a donor
  • Difference between natural death and brain death
  • Donation following natural death and brain death
  • Importance of the donor card

   

  Around 70 devotees filled the pledge form received donor cards.
