Mohan Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) - Navjeevan Group, with the help of AU Small Finance Bank, held an awareness talk to make students aware of organ donation at Wilfred Girls College, Mansarovar, Jaipur on 31 Aug 2018.
Dr. AmlaBatra and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF-Navjeevan team
Dr. AnjuKatara (Principal) Dr. Dhyan Singh (Vice Principal) participated in the program with about 1000 college students and received important information about the concept of organ donation and brain death through the presentation and video.
Dr. AmlaBatra discussed the following points:
1. Difference between brain death and cardiac death
2. The concept of organ donation.
3. Misconceptions about organ donation.
During the program the students asked a few questions which were answeredby members of the MFJCFteam members.
1. How long the organ like the heart should be transplanted?
2. What organ donations can be donated in live donation?
3. What are the legal facts about the organ donation?
After the program, all the students picked up the donor cards and posed with message board "I Support Organ Donation" and promised to spread awareness about organ donationamong friends and family.
