On 10th August 2020, Ms Prarthana Dwivedi of MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation was invited by Mr Viral Patel to conduct an awareness session on organ donation and explain its importance in our country on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtmi at Dev Sanskitik Vidyalaya ,Shantiunj. They arranged webinar through zoom.
Ms Prarthana started the session with an interaction with students about values in life. Gradually, she started with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation and the importance of organ donation in the current scenario. She shared her experience in this field and explained real story of Donors. It inspired the participants and they got enthusiastic to promote Organ Donation in their circles. It was an interactive session with question and answers. The doubts that the audience had were clarified by him. All the doubts that the participants had were clarified after the session.
Participants were interested to hear the concepts of organ donation and to promote about organ donation. After the session, some of them asked about the process of pledging for Organ Donation and get Donor Card. They assured that they would discuss about Organ Donation with their family and friends. There were more than 265 participants including faculty members for the awareness program.
