Bharthi Scouts Group celebrates their 40th Anniversary with a noble cause

  • To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Bharathi Scouts Group (affiliated to East Chennai Bharat Scouts and Guides),  they invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an Organ Donation Campaign for the public and their members.

    Bharathi Scouts Group was started in the year 1975. Amarar R. Elumalai one of the National training team members were instrumental for the starting of this group. Group is named after the great freedom poet Subramania Bharathiar.

    The event was held on 6th December 2014 and it was a joint venture of Bharathi Scouts Group, MOHAN Foundation and Ethiraj College for Women. The campaign was organized  in the auditorium of  Ethiraj College for Women where more than 300  young girls participated.

    The event started at 10:00 am with inaugural function. The programme schedule as follows:

    An information and registration desk was set up outside the auditorium. More 450 students signed as Organ Donors.
