On 5th December 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 20 Students from Various parts of Punjab, college students, patient care attendants and home nursing participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Deepika Arora.
The session covered topics like concept of organ donation, brain death, difference between cardiac death & brain death, myths related to organ donation.
It was a very interactive session; the participants asked many questions which were duly addressed.
