On 22.01.2018, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan Team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at KalwarPanchayt, Jhotwara, Jaipur. More than 60 villagers attended the session and got sensitized about organ donation.
Mrs.Renu Devi Uba represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mr. Mukesh Kumar Verma, Sarpanch and Mr. Pradeep Mehra, Gram Sevak attended the session with 60 villagers and welcomed MFJCF- Navjeevan team.Mr. Mukesh Kumar Verma addressed villagers and asked Navjeevan members for the presentation. Concept of organ donation, brain death, causes of organ failure and process of donation was described by the MFJCF- Navjeevan members with the help of PowerPoint presentation and video.
During the program some questions were asked and answered by the MFJCF-Navjeevan members.
1. How many hospitals in Rajasthan are working for organ transplant?
2. Can I donate my organ when I am alive?
3. What is the cost of Kidney transplant?
After the session 40 people took donor cards and promised Navjeevan team to spread the awareness about organ donation.
