  Mr. B.L. Balwani Chairman of the company was informed about MOHAN Foundation by an associate Mr. Sudhir Laturkar of Smart Life Solutions. He  invited Dr. Ravi Wankhede to deliver a talk to the office staff on 20^th May. 2017. Mr. Parag Badkas Manager Account & finance welcomed Dr. Ravi Wankhede and Mr.Sudhir Laturkar by offering a flower bouquet. Mr. Laturkar introduced Dr. Ravi Wankhede to the audience.

  Dr. Wankhede gave an insight about the subject in a comprehensive manner. He stressed the importance of organ donation from living donors as well as after death. He explained the concept of brain death which could result in helping eight people get life saving organs. He explained through PPP the subject and its importance including its need, religious misconceptions, social aspects etc. 32 employees attended the session. After the talk Dr.Ravi Wankhede interacted with the employees who raised the following queries. Mr. Bulu Behera Transplant Coordinator was present and helped distribute the pamphlets. He guided the participants to sign pledge forms and also distributed organ donor cards.

  1) Can organ donation and  body donation happen together?

  2) What is the process of body donation?

  3) After natural death what is the time duration for tissue donation?

  4) If a person dies in village how can eye donation be done?

  All present in the talk pledged to donate organs. Mr. B. L. Vaswani spoke in the end and exhorted all to help spread the information to their families and friends.
