MOHAN Foundation Conducts Awareness Talk on Organ Donation at Auckland House School Girls Wing, Shimla

  On 22^nd May 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Sunita John, Principal of Auckland House School Girls Wing, Shimla to conduct an awareness talk for their students. Approximately 105 students from class 12^th and 7 teachers attended the session.

   

  The session was conducted by Ms. Deepika Arora, She covered the following topics during her talk:

  • Need for Organ Donation
  • Types of Donation
  • Tissue Donation after Cardiac Death
  • Concept of Organ Donation
  • Difference between Natural Death & Brain Death
  • Myths on Organ Donation

   

  Students were very attentive & alert and showed interest to be Organ Donor.

   

  All the students and teachers were highly motivated and said they will come forth to make it a success in Shimla.
