| Orientation on Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme Updated on Thursday, July 19, 2012

MMM College of Health Sciences (a unit of The Madras Medical Mission), Chennai invited MOHAN Foundation to deliver a talk on Organ Donation and to apprise them of the Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme. The talk was held on 9th July 2012 on Prayer day. The programme started with prayers and messages from the Bible, Bhagavad Gita, Quran and Thirukkural. Then, Ms.Veena ,Transplant Coordinator, gave a brief talk about the role of transplant coordinators in transplant centres and the importance of the Transplant Coordinators' Training programme. She also shared a few case studies and spoke about how the training would help the students hone and implement their skills in the field. Organ Donation promotional videos were screened at the end of the session where 22 students pledged for a Donor card. Source-Ms. Veena | ||||
