Organ Donation awareness stall at Japanese Gardens, Nagpur

  • MOHAN Foundation Nagpur Center Organ organized organ donation awareness stall at Japanese Garden on 10th May 2015.  This garden is  well known place for entertainment. There were various recreational activities like rangoli design, cricket match, volleyball game, etc.  

    The Transplant coordinators Mr. Bulu Behera & Ms. Kanchan Shewde gave information through banners, brochures and slogans. Information was given to the visitors about organ donations from living and after death. They were told about brain death and the several organs which could be donated from people who suffered brain death. They were also informed about eye, skin donation which could be done in natural deaths. Contact numbers were provided for help should there be any requirement for donation of organs and tissues. There were approximately  50 visitors to the stall.

    They were given answers accordingly.
