The autobiography of Mr.Sivagangai Ramachandhiranar, a self-respect movement activist, was released on 16th July 2012 at Rajarathinam auditorium, Chennai. MOHAN Foundation team was invited to deliver a talk on Organ Donation and whole body donation on the occasion.
The gathering of nearly 400 included advocates, novelists, young entrepreneurs, college and school students.
Ms.Jessi, Transplant coordinator, MOHAN Foundation who spoke on this occasion covered the following topics –
*The concepts on Organ Donation *Difference between whole body donation and Organ donation *The importance of carrying a “Donor Card” *Concept of Brain death
Mr.Needhi Selvan, Advocate-Madras High Court took a special interest in inviting MOHAN Foundation to the function and coordinated the whole event.
