  Members of Interact Club, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Taylors Road, Chennai and MOHAN Foundation team

  The Interact Club of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Taylor’s road, Chennai invited MOHAN Foundation to give a talk on Organ Donation on 9^th January 2013. Nearly 110 students of 11^th standard and 6 teachers attended the session.

   

  Ms.Veena, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation started the session by screening a prize winning video on Organ Donation. Students were quizzed on the topic and there was lively discussion. This was followed by a short presentation. 

   

  The following topics were covered

  1. Hinduism and Organ Donation
  2. Types of Donor
  3. Difference between Brain Death and Coma
  4. Organ And Tissue Donation
  5. Donor Card
  6. Website and Helpline number.

   

  All the students expressed their support for the noble cause. At the end of the talk information brochures were distributed to the students.
