  Organ Donation Awareness for Rotary Members of Coimbatore

  MOHAN Foundation was invited by Rotary Club of Coimbatore (Metropolis) Members, on 22^nd March 2011. The Executive Director Mr.Pratab Gokuldas briefed about MOHAN FOUNDATION and the importance of organ donation. His talk on the topic “GIVE” impressed all the participants. Mr.Arun Gokuldas shared his experience on blood donation and the importance. The Transplant Coordinator G Mukesh screened a short film on organ donation and explained the concept of brain death, organ donation, eye donation and organ allocation. He also spoke about the importance of the Donor card.  Valuable questions were raised by the participants and all who attended the program expressed their support by taking the pledge to carry a Donor card. Mr.Sahayam, Marketing Coordinator explained the importance of creating awareness, legal and ethical issues, and myths about organ donation. Most of the participants were impressed on our activities and asked the MOHAN team to arrange more programs in their corporate and educational institutions.

Dear sir, We have a renal failure patient in our family and require transplant. unfortunately we didn't find any match in our family for donating the kidney. query is related to the matter if your organization has got any arrangement/program in place so that we may find suitable donor or got any exchange program through which one of us may provide matching kidney to another needy and we may have our matching from another donor.
