Golden Jubilee CME – Mrithasanjeevani Scheme

  • Govt. T. D Medical College, Alappuzha organised an awareness workshop on Deceased Donor Transplantation Programme on 16th February 2013 at Hotel Royale Park, Alappuzha. The state Govt. of Kerala has successfully implemented the deceased donor transplantation programme under the “Mrithasanjeevani Scheme”. The Golden Jubilee CME was organised to impart awareness and knowledge about this scheme.

    Maintaining a brain dead donor in ICU –

    Dr. R. Muraleedharan, Dept of Anaesthesiology, Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram

     

    Liver transplantation –

    Dr. G. Unnikrishnan, Surgical Gastroenterology, AIMS, Kochi

     

    Grief counselling & transplant coordination –

    Ms. R. Veena, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai

     

    Deceased donor transplantation programme – Tamil Nadu experience –

    Dr. J. Amalorpavanathan, State Convenor, Govt. Of Tamil Nadu

     

    Deceased donor transplantation – Kerala experience

    Depts of Nephrology & Urology, Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram

     

     

    Medical students, para-medics & transplant coordinators from different hospitals attended this workshop. This workshop enlightened the participants on various aspects of Mrithasanjeevani scheme.
