On 25th April, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan. The Secretary, Mr. Talwar, I.A.S. was very supportive of the cause. He motivated the volunteers to work proactively on Organ Donation. Around 50 students from various parts of Punjab participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction by Mr. Dewan and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions on organ donation. All the participants were highly motivated and said they will come forth to make it a success in their areas. Our special thanks to Mr. K.K. Saini, Sr. Field Officer, Red Cross Punjab for requesting us to make this a weekly feature.
