One Week Transplant Coordinators Training Programme in Bangalore

We are happy to announce the “One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program” in association with Surgical Gastroenterology Department, Bengaluru Medical College between 16th  and 20th September 2013 at Conference Stage, PMSSY Hospital, Bengaluru. This programme is also supported by ZCCK.

As you are aware, the success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators.  The Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre.  This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in over 300 Transplant Centres in the country.

In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of health care professionals in hospitals.   We have conducted several training programs in the country, and trained over 350 transplant coordinators.

You are requested to nominate your Social Worker, senior ICU Nurse, Patient Coordinator, PR Manager or a doctor, to attend this unique program.

Certificate of the Training program will be given to candidates who attend the entire Program, and have passed the written test, which would be conducted on last day of the training program.
