On 14^th July 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the BDS students of Vishu Dental College Telangana. The session was conducted in association with Ms. Aruna who approached Hyderabad Team for an awareness campaign. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the key speaker.

Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on organ donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

• Organ donation and its need in the society
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death and clinical aspects of brain death
• Difference between brain death and coma
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation

Dr. Bhanu Prakash motivated the audience to pledge for Organ Donation and explained the importance of a donor card. The students were interactive and posed several questions during the session. Brochures and donor cards were distributed at the end of the session

Nearly 200 students attended the session.
