On 30^th November 2022, Dr. Ravi Wankhede and Mr. Bulu Behera was invited by  ZTCC President- Dr. Bivabari Dani to conduct a talk on organ donation for Senior citizens. This programme was coordinated by Dr. Raju Mishra- Secretary of Senior citizen Nagpur forum.

Dr. Ravi Wankhede addressed the audience and discussed the below topics:

• What is organ donation?
• Who requires an organ transplant?
• Types of death? Brain death and Circulatory death
• Which are the organs and tissues that can be donated after Brain Death?
• Body Donation and its procedure?
• Myths and facts about organ donation were explained.

Questions asked by the students were as follows:

• In case of  Brain death which organs can be donate and what is the time limit?
• Whom to contact for organ donation?

Close to 200 participants were present and 20 of them signed the consent form.
