On 8^th March 2022, on the occasion of International Women’s day MFJCF was invited by Brahma Kumaris to their "Women: Flag bearers of new India" campaign Launch. With the campaign launch they also wanted inspired the audience to talk about organ donation.  Around 150 people attended the event

Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani from MFJCF talked about Organ Donation

 

She talked about the following points:

• What is organ donation and what are the types of donations?
• Who can be a donor?
• What organs can be donated after natural and brain death
• Myths around organ donation
• Real life stories of an organ donors of Rajasthan
• Importance of donor card

 

She latter asked the audience to turn on their flashlights to show support for organ donation.

The National Organ Donation Helpline number, 1800 103 7100 was shared with the participants. Around 50 people picked up their donor cards. MFJCF is thankful to Sister Ekta ji for inviting us to the event
