On 12^th June 2021, Ms Prarthana Dwivedi of MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation invited by Dr Priyatish Gajbhiye Manager Operations & Quality to conduct an awareness session on Organ Donation and explain its importance at Avanti Heart Institute , Dhantoli, Nagpur.

Ms Prarthana started the session with an interaction with Nursing department and hospital staff about values in life. Gradually, she started with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation and the importance of organ donation in the current scenario. She shared her experience in this field and explained real story of Donors. It inspired the participants and they got enthusiastic to promote Organ Donation in their circles. It was an interactive session with question and answers. The doubts that the audience had were clarified by Ms Prarthana after the session. 

Participants were interested to hear the concepts of organ donation and to promote about organ donation. After the session, some of them asked about the process of pledging for Organ Donation and get Donor Card. They assured that they would discuss about Organ Donation with their family and friends. At the end of the talk pamphlets were distributed. There were more than 55 participants for the awareness program.
