On 26th August 2020, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. A K Sen Gupta, Founder of Higher Education Forum' for conducting an awareness webinar for its students and faculty.

Mrs Jaya Jairam introduced MOHAN Foundation, its mission, vision and activities. She then explained the concept of Organ and tissue donation, types of death, organs and tissues that can be donated. She spoke about how the medical advancements of organ donation and transplantation have enabled many patients suffering from organ failure to get a renewed lease of life through life-saving organ.

She elaborated that there was no age limit for donating one's organs, as long as the organs and tissues were healthy. She went on to share information about the Indian laws relevant to Organ Donation, the process of registering on a waiting list and the transparency of the process. The various myths and barriers to organ donation were discussed too.

The students were encouraged to join in the volunteering workshop. Details of Organ donation Helpline No. 1800 103 7100 was also shared. Around 52 persons attended the awareness session. The link for enabling the participants to sign up to be a organ donor, was shared.
