On 25^th Feb 2020 MOHAN Foundation installed Awareness Stall on Organ Donation along with Health Checkup Camp arranged by Mr Imam Shaikh on the Occasion of Shiv Jayanti. Mr Imam Shaikh introduced Ms Pratima Phadatare as Transplant coordinator of MOHAN Foundation working in B.J. Medical College and Sasoon Hospital, Pune.

Ms Pratima Phadatare spoke about the contribution of MOHAN Foundation in the field of organ donation since last 23 years for the society, it’s objectives and mission. Then she explained about what organ donation is, When, Who, Why, and how it can be done. She explained the legal back up i.e. THOA act 2011 related to organ donation. Lastly she spoke about the religious barrier and myths related to organ donation. 

Near about 150 People came for medical checkup and nearly 60 persons visited the awareness stall. Group session was also arranged for awareness and visitors were distributed information brochures. 

We are very thankful to Mr Imam Shaikh for arranging stall and group session on organ donation along with their health checkup camp. We are also thankful to the Corporator for inviting us and supporting the cause of Organ Donation.
