On 27^th February 2020, MOHAN Foundation and Jeevasarthakathe Karnataka organised a CME on Organ Donation, Brain Death Diagnosis and Donor Maintenance at Bowring & Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Center in Shivajinagar, Bengaluru. Around 260 participants attended the session.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Jawaid Akhtar IAS, Principal Secretary to Government of Karnataka - Health & Family Welfare Department. Dr. Kishore Phadke, Convener of Jeevasarthakathe and Mr. Shridhar Hanchinal, Hon. Director MOHAN Foundation Karnataka were also the invited dignitaries. Dr. K.S. Manjunath, Director cum Dean and Dr. K. Ravi, Professor of General Medicine of Bowring & Lady Curzon were the chairpersons.

While Dr. Rajesh Shetty gave a talk on Brain Death Diagnosis and Documentation, Dr. Arun, spoke on the topic of Donor Maintenance. Mr. Marulappa LN (Transplant Coordinator) and Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS (Project Manager) of MOHAN Foundation were also present.

Chairperson, Dr. K. S. Manjunath addressed the gathering and expressed his views towards organ donation. Mr. Jawaid Akhtar addressed the gathering about the importance of organ donation. Dr. Kishore Phadke spoke about the organ transplantation process and Mr. Shridhar Hanchinal elaborated on the role of MOHAN Foundation and Jeeevasarthakathe team in Bowring & Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Institute.
