On 13th February 2020, the MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum organized an awareness programme on organ donation in association with Times of India at the Nursing Department of Rajasthan. Mr. P.C Jain delivered a talk on the subject of organ donation and transplantation and around 125 nursing students and staff attended.

Mr. Jain began talking about the concepts of organ donation. The following topics were discussed:

• Organ donation and transplantation
• Types of death
• Types of donors
• Brain death
• Organs and tissues that could be donated
• Transplantation Law in India
• Myths related to organ donation
• Life after transplant
• Activities of MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum  

The audience commented that it was a very informative session that had clarity and gave them an opportunity to learn many new things. MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum is thankful to the Nursing Department for the opportunity.
