Amit Gupta Foundation was formed in 2009 with the aim to raise awareness for organ donation amongst the millions who run from pillar to post trying to save their loved ones.  The primary aim of the foundation is to sensitize families of donors and recipients to what the needs both medically, emotionally, socially are during and after transplant.  The foundation also aims to help people understand the need to donate organs when declared brain dead in order to save other lives.  The foundation hopes to raise awareness amongst not only families but also deal with all stake holders of an organ donation to aid the donors and recipients to have a full and quality life.

MOHAN Foundation has partnered with Amit Gupta Foundation in this endeavour. The talk at its parent company was the first step in this direction
