On 7^thJuly 2019, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Reliance Jio Company, RK heights Sudhakarwadi Yawatmal Road, Wani on the occasion of their Foundation Day. They also arranged the blood donation camp along with organ donation session under the coordination of Mr Raju Manusmare who is the marketing executive in Reliance Jio Company. The session which began around 2:30 pm was attended by 29 staff.

Ms. Prarthana introduced MOHAN Foundation and Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation. She asked about the organ donation to the gathering so as all were non-medicosthey were totally blank and had no idea about the organ donation and they know about eye donationonly.

Ms. Prarthana explained the concepts of organ Donation, why and when is a transplantation required, various organs that can be donated, types of donors, types of death, viability of organs after retrieval. She also explained the difference between Brain death and Cardiac Death. She also elaborated the Transplantation of Human Organs Act, and discussed about the myths and misconceptions related to organ donation. She also briefed about Skin donation, Eye donation, Organ donation and Body donation.

Crowd asked the following were a few questions asked:

• How to register as an organ donor?
• Difference between body donation and organ donation?
• Can old age person donate their skin?
